Being a sustainable business is not only important to us, but also to our clients and community. It is an area of focus for our business which we are striving to progress. Together, with our parent company Duni, we are taking steps to become carbon zero by 2030.
We don’t buy into the age-old process of purchasing carbon credits to offset emissions associated with the manufacture of products. Instead, we believe in taking a holistic approach whereby we consider not only our environment but also our people, culture and community. We understand the wellbeing of our employees and our community is just as important as the Environmental and Governance aspects of sustainability.
Our FSC certification plays an important role in our cradle to grave sustainability story with our napkins being 100% compostable and biodegradable. 60% of our tissue is sourced locally and made right here in New Zealand.
We recognise businesses have a social responsibility when it comes to a sustainable future for all. We have several sustainability initiatives in the pipeline, one of which is working toward providing plastic free packaging for our consumer products.
